She is tired of her brother and mother handling her like she is a helpless child, no matter how much she has proven that she is as ruthless as any other enforcer.

Marcus Fuller … enforcer of the Phoenix pack, wanted by all the females, and sexy beyond reason. He is used to females flocking to him and bending at his will. That is until he encounters Roni! She challenges him by resisting him and he is up for the fight.

The Good:
This was a delicious battle of attraction. He wants to dominate her and she wants to keep her vulnerability around him hidden.

As usual, I hated when the story ended. I can’t get enough of this series.

Worth the Read?
The emotions in this read were all over the place, but, that’s what made it a great book. Marcus, the charming and dominating Enforcer was determined to make Roni his. To be around her tested his strength at remaining militant. When she seems unfazed by his advances, he must switch tactics. The opportunity comes when they must work together to defeat an enemy. What he finds is he himself is falling hard for her. With an intensity that is hard to manage, he finds himself vulnerable and showing parts of himself that he never revealed to any other female. Roni wants him. She is pushed to uncomfortable limits and she is not trying to give in to the intense attraction anytime soon. To take a chance on this is out of both of their characters. The pull of a true mating bond is strong and to fight it only delays the inevitable. Solid 5 Stars!
