Writing a collaboration with Johnathan McClain, I had no idea what to expect. What I got was pure, raw, abandon.<\/p>\n<p>Two people with dark pasts, living in their own reality. Maddie has dreams and she is doing whatever it takes to make them happen. She owes a debt and until that debt is paid, she is in danger. Tyler\u2019s demons haunt him, and his destructive behavior does nothing to satisfy the hunger. Sin City has laid claim to these two lost souls. They each have something the other needs and when they meet, sparks fly. Their collision is on a level of the Joker and Harley Quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Together, they fulfill a need of longing, desire, acceptance, and peace. This is brilliant writing that I wasn\u2019t sure of at first, but, I knew in the end I would. The characters were developed at a slow pace, but, reading further, I understood why. Touching on the affects of PTSD was great because it affects people in different ways and should be talked about in different aspects.<\/p>\n<p>I loved how Maddie had strong convictions and although she was a stripper, she had her dignity and she was strong. This is truly a fantastic take on opposites attract. I\u2019m looking forward to book two in this series.
