A successful hockey career, a great woman, and a beautiful little boy. Tragedy strikes and he shuts down emotionally. Months have passed and it\u2019s time to get back in the game. He needs to hire a nanny and he has no clue what to do. His sister helps him get back on track and finds him the perfect person to watch over his son while he resumes his hockey career. Kate is perfect. She captures the heart of a boy who suffered a traumatic loss and helps mend the seams of a broken family. Zack refuses to move on from the loss. He has walls put up that he refuses to let down\u2026. until Kate. The attraction between them is so electric and undeniable. He does his best to avoid her and keep it professional. One night he sees what she keeps under her baggy clothes\u2026 killer curves, luscious breasts, and a nice ass. He can no longer deny his need to have her\u2026she can no longer fight the lust that lingers on the cusp of insanity. They give in to the passion and can\u2019t resist the pull. Sometimes when tragedy strikes, it\u2019s easier to stay in emotional pain than open to something new.<br \/>\n[divider style=&#8217;left&#8217;]<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Ugly<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nI could not find anything ugly per se, however, I think some parts of the story were drawn out too long.<br \/>\n[divider style=&#8217;left&#8217;]<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Worth the Read?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nTo have someone awaken dormant feelings after a traumatic event can be challenging. It makes for a great read. I felt the pain that Zack endured and the author captured the essence of forbidden lust. Zack was torn between giving in to feelings that were something he\u2019s never felt before. Kate was a breath of fresh air that was needed for both Zack and his son. She also struggled with crossing the line of boss\/employee. He made her feel things that she didn\u2019t know could exist between two people. How do you move on and not feel guilty for having feelings for someone other than your first love? How do you stop yourself from indulging once you\u2019ve tasted forbidden fruit? This was a wonderful story of lust, love, tragedy, and renewal.
