Author Bio
SC Daiko, aka Siobhan (pronounced Shivawn), is an award-winning, international bestselling contemporary romance author. Originally from the UK, she now lives in Italy with her husband and two cats. Nothing makes her happier than connecting with her readers.

The Interview
When did you know that you wanted to be an Author? How did you choose your genre?
I love writing and telling stories, but it wasn’t until a close friend became an author that I felt confident enough to publish my first novel. I write romance because I love to read it.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
Sleep, hahaha. Seriously, I love to swim in the ocean, hang out with friends, visit new places, eat out in restaurants.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would love to travel to the U.S.A. I live in Europe but have so many American friends I’d like to meet up with. Also see places I’ve only seen in movies or read about.
Which character from any of your books are you most relatable?
Beth in “Game On”. I was a Spanish teacher like her, although I’ve never had a relationship with one of my students.
Are any of your stories based on personal experience?
Some of my teaching experience I used in “Game On” but that’s it. I have a wildly wicked imagination and like to make stuff up.
Wine or Liquor?
Wine. I live in Italy where the wine is relatively cheap and oh so delicious.
Which is more important to you, character development or plot?
Character development always. My characters become so real to me I dream about them. Their choices influence plot.
What do you want readers to experience when they read your work?
I want them to fall in love with my characters and feel what they feel.
What would the title be of the movie about your life?
Changing Direction
What motto do you live by?

Eat the chocolate!!! (My scales broke)
