The Good:
This book took me on an emotional journey that I did not want to let go of. It seemed so wrong, but oh so right. I’m having trouble putting myself back together after this.
The Bad:
The pain…it was too much, but I enjoyed it. I reveled in it. So bad and yet so good.
The Ugly:
Dealing with the past can be ugly. It’s one of those things that must be dealt with no matter how ugly and painful. It’s the only way to move on.
Worth the Read?
M. Robinson is a genius! The conclusion to the Pierced Hearts Duet is pure, raw emotion that will take ahold of your heart, no, your soul and own every part of it. This story takes you to its own private realm and it makes you dwell there until you are drained of every single emotion that you embody.
In Choosing Us, M. Robinson collected my tears and in Choosing You she released the flood gate. I have never read a book that produced actual tears. Imagine the twists and turns of a suspenseful read and flip it to the opposite end of the spectrum where your feelings are a playground for an Author. I never imagined there could be more.
The only way to describe this is… I thought I was used up and M. Robinson said, no my dear, I will collect your tears until you run dry. I can’t write my true feelings without giving spoilers. This story went into the depths of that place where you have no control, but yet you’re in full control. It’s dangerous, but safe …. vulnerable, yet strong. Love, pain, torture, lust, brought together to create its own unnamed emotion.
The Queen of Angst has outdone herself and I’m just crazy enough to want more. This is an EBR Must Read! Infinite Stars because 5 Stars is not enough!
