Antonia is broken and weak from a tragic loss. She is trying hard to be strong, but, after what has happened she must rely on the strength of her friends and family. A family that has held a secret for too long. She doesn’t see how her relationship with her soul mate can survive. She wants his comfort, but, she also wants distance.
Finlay loves Antonia more than he loves himself. Their love is soul deep and it is painful. He is crushed after tragedy struck and all he wants is for her to be ok. He wants to be there for her, but, he gives her the space she needs no matter how much she puts up a wall. He believes that their love will bring them back from the abyss that they’ve fallen in.
The Good:
This book was amazingly good. I did not have the pleasure of reading the first book (which I will), but, it was so brilliantly written that I could imagine what happened. Very fulfilling and intense!

I did not like Julie, she was such a bitch and did not care who she hurt. I believe she has story though….

I could not find anything ugly except that I wish I had read the first book in the series, but, I am happy I signed up for this ARC.

Worth the Read?
The great thing about this read was the mystery. It was intense and tangible. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat wondering who was after Antonia. It was creepy, suspenseful, and climactic! Everything that a mystery should be.
After everything that Antonia went through only to have this man from the past reappear and wreak havoc on her life and the people she loves is haunting. Finlay makes a confession, knowing that he will lose her, but, I think in the back of his mind he knew he needed to let her go. She was the very air he breathed and somehow, I believe, he knew that wasn’t any way to live. He could probably feel the growing attraction between her and his friend Gavin.
Gavin was my hero! Antonio could see into his heart…past the playboy that everyone else saw. Gavin revealed his true self to her and that in turn showed Antonia that he is someone she could love. This read ripped me apart in a good way. It will tear at your soul and leave just enough of you to sit and wonder what just happened? The conclusion to this series was worth waiting for!! Solid 5 Star Read!!
