Beautiful Mistake

Rachel Martin is a feisty young woman who is strong, independent, and loyal to her friends. When a cheating bastard hurts her friend, she wants revenge. She asks her to point him out and when Rachel gets her chance, she lets him have a piece of her mind. She lets him know what an asshole he is. She also notices how gorgeous he is and how that perfect, lazy smile takes his looks to a level of hotness that she can’t ignore. The only problem is, this isn’t the right guy. He is not the cheating husband who seduced her best friend. He is the Professor that she will be working for as a Teacher’s Assistant this semester.

Caine West is taken aback when this sexy, feisty, and short woman confronts him and gives him a tongue lashing that shouldn’t come from a young lady. He tells her that she has the wrong guy and she doesn’t believe him until her best friend drunkenly corrects her. He feels something familiar when he encounters Rachel. Little did he know, their paths crossed a long time ago.

The Good:
From the start, I was intrigued. It is very rare that a story grabs me from the beginning and sucks me in, but, this was absolutely brilliant!  The plot was more than believable and the crossing of their paths was very smooth and transitioned in a way that was sweet and lovable.

The Bad:
Sometimes Rachel got on my nerves with not giving Caine a chance to explain himself when they would have discussion. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people don’t listen.

Worth the Read?
This was a random pick for me and it turned out to be a great choice. The storyline was magnificent and how the past tied with the present was tangible and one of the sweetest love stories that I’ve ever read. Caine West is a refreshing welcome to my list of book boyfriends. He had a little ego, but, not overwhelming. His words set me on fire and sent literal chills up my spin. Listening to books brings life to them and causes the imagination to wonder into forbidden space. I didn’t want this to end, but, I felt satisfied in a way that I can’t see how this story could go on. A wonderful story that I enjoyed getting lost in. I definitely recommend this read if you are looking for a mixture of love, hot sex, and a story that will make your heart swell. Solid 5 Stars
