He wants Rosie….he’s wanted her for as long as he could remember. He settled for her Sister 11 years ago and he regrets it. He should’ve never let Rosie push him into Emilia’s arms.
Nothing is in the way now….well...there are those pesky little secrets that seem to rear their ugly heads….secrets that will make you stronger or tear you apart.
The Good:
This was a solid story full of anguish, pain, hurt, happiness, lust, fire…everything that I love in a book. Listening brought such life to these two and Dean is a dirty talking god! Can you say “caught the vapors”!

The Bad:
Rosie’s parents about made me lose my shit! They were manipulative and selfish. They never considered Rosie’s feelings and they don’t listen. She’s an adult and she makes the decisions when it comes to her life. They made it about them and that’s not fair.

The Ugly:
Nina….need I say more? Ok, what she did to Dean is heartbreaking. A conniving snake that repeatedly went for the kill to get what she wanted and in the end she’s the one that paid the piper.

Worth the Read?
I loved how the Author referenced Jacob and Rachel from the Bible. Dean and Rosie’s story was a true testament of unrequited love. I was engaged throughout this entire story. I look for a story to draw out emotions that will cut me to the bone and this one did not disappoint.
Dean not treating Rosie with kid gloves helped her live a fulfilling life. The passion between these two was delicious. A decadent, forbidden lust that could only be satisfied by their joining. Irresistible and mouthwatering….literally. Secrets have a way of ruining it all.
No matter how deep you love someone, no matter that you know you’re soulmates….finding out the truth…slipping into a moment of utter hatred and despair that you forget what’s important….see, sometimes the moment you lose focus, there’s a hefty price to pay that can cost you everything. Dean finds out the hard way.
Simply, brilliant writing! Solid 5 Stars!
